Getting to know Ashley and what to expect from the AMA

We’re so appreciative of Ashley Heidemann, founder of JD Advising, for taking the time to do this bar exam prep AMA! She brings a wealth of knowledge to the AMA from her personal success with the MBE and her experience as a law school and bar exam tutor at JD Advising. Ashley founded JD Advising in 2011 after receiving a top score of 180 on the MBE, putting her in the top 1st percentile. Ashley was also the #1 student in her graduating class at Wayne State University Law School.

At JD Advising, Ashley works with students at every stage of their law school career from applying to schools, to studying for classes, and preparing for the bar. JD Advising’s bar exam offerings include a personalized small-group Uniform Bar Exam course and Multistate Essay Exam courses among other resources.

During the bar prep AMA, you can ask Ashley anything you’d like about:

  • Her bar prep strategies
  • Advice she gives students who are about to take the bar
  • Common mistakes she sees students make prior to the bar exam
  • Her company’s programs
  • Anything else you are curious about!

How to get involved in the AMA

Getting excited for the upcoming AMA? We are too! To participate you’ll need to be a member of the Scholastica - Law Review Editors LinkedIn group. You can request to join by clicking here.

At the AMA start time Ashley will post a conversation in the group introducing herself and the details of the AMA - including how to enter for a chance to win a free set of MEE one-sheets from JD Advising. RSVPs will be entered automatically! Once Ashley opens up the AMA conversation you’ll be free to join in. Just post your question as a comment.

Ashley will do her best to respond to all of the questions she receives during the AMA time period. If she doesn’t get to your question by the end of the event, don’t worry! Ashley will be taking to Twitter to field any remaining AMA questions using the hashtag #LREditorAMA.

Enter to win free MEE one-sheets - participation counts!

All AMA attendees will have the opportunity to enter to win a JD Advising gift basket including a free set of MEE one-sheets. Ashley will post a link to the prize entry form at the start of the AMA. If you RSVP, you’ll be entered automatically!

Keep in mind - participation counts! Those who ask a question during the AMA will be entered to win the one-sheets prize 3 times upping their chances. So be sure to post a question in the AMA thread!

We’ll announce the one-sheets winner via email and post an announcement in the LinkedIn group at the end of the AMA event. If you aren’t selected, you won’t be leaving empty handed either. At the end of the AMA Ashley will share a code you can use to receive 10% off all JD Advising MEE one-sheets and books.

What are MEE One-Sheets?

For students taking the bar exam in a MEE jurisdiction, JD Advising’s MEE one-sheets are a great resource to add to your toolbox. The one-sheets provide a focused and concise review of the most highly-tested material on the MEE.
